3 different types of camping fridges & which one you need

Choosing the camping fridge that suits your needs is important.  For some of the trips through Australia relying on a Ice box is simply not possible, there isn't enough space and there arnt enough shops to buy ice from.  The convenience of having a car fridge is huge, it leaves ice boxes for dead.

Depending on the style of camping that you do, will determine the style of fridge that will best suit your needs.

The Waeco CF-40 and the ENGEL MT45 are two of the most popular compressor car fridges in the Australian marketplace today

Honeymoon of Awesomeness Day 9

Sunrise was quite ordinary today, a thick band of cloud on the horizon blocked out any colour that wanted to shine through, so we took our time packing up and enjoyed a relaxed breakfast at Banjo's before we left for our days journey. We had a few things to do in Winton before we left, such as a visit to Arno's Wall. Arno's Wall is a strange mixture of art and architecture. Cemented contents of the wall include rusted lawnmower parts, boat propellers, vintage typewriters, sewing machines and even a couple of complete motorbikes. It really has anything and everything, including the kitchen sink!!

Honeymoon of Awesomeness Day 8

Here we were in the middle of the QLD Outback, camped under the ghost gums along the Burke River. The night sky was growing lighter, dawn was nearly here. We rose just before sunrise, had some breakfast and a little morning walk around our site. By this stage of the trip packing up was easy, everything had an order and everything had its place. It didn't take long and we were ready to tackle the days drive from Boulia to Winton, an easy drive of 362km. That wouldn't take long at all!! We left our wonderful campsite after putting out our campfire.
